Came here for breakfast and was pleased with the service and prices on the menu. We ordered the traditional breakfasts and build your own omelette. The food was alright nothing amazing. But service was amazing! We were continuously checked on and followed up on by our waitress. Great place to come for a decent meal and decent prices. The atmosphere was clean and tables were well spaced out.

Another for the new year in Maui yelpers! When in Hawaii..a loco moco is always a must. And this place was it. I love finding a hole in the wall place that has excellent customer service, delicious food at great prices and a clean and relaxing atmosphere. Food came out fast and hot. Old school dining place. My brother lives nearby so he took us on our visit to Maui. Great pancakes !! I also got the fried rice and it was good and half the price compared to other places. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be going back at each visit.

Went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Parking lot was full and there was a line, but it was only a short wait until we were seated. Place has a very relaxed and comfortable vibe. We ordered some drinks, the shrimp omelette, the breakfast loco moco and a short stack of banana macadamia nut pancakes. Really liked the breakfast loco moco, good amount of gravy and fills you up nicely. The shrimp omelette was a bit dry, the pancake was great and probably my favorite dish. Staff were very friendly.

We drove by Tasty Crust and saw a full parking lot, which is always a good sign, so we stopped for a very late lunch. This is a locals diner that serves good food at a surprising low cost. Two burgers w/fries + 2 sodas was $25.99. Our cheapest meal to-date on the island! It's a good size old fashion diner that hasn't been updated over the years. There was a steady stream of locals coming in for a late lunch or early dinner. The menu was extensive. They are known for their breakfast items of pancakes and Loco moco. Our burgers were good and were on very fresh buns and excellent French fries. Everything was served hot which is so appreciated. My burger was served plain with the exception of wilted lettuce. Service was fast but not overly friendly. Would love to come back for the pancakes!

Good traditional breakfast is a welcoming old school environment. Service was great and food was quick and tasty!

The pancakes were spot-on, fluffy and flavorful, and the fried rice with Portuguese sausage was excellent. We also had breakfast plates with more Portuguese sausage -- it's the cased kind, which isn't my personal favorite, but everything was cooked perfectly, so no complaints. Every bite felt like good, old-fashioned comfort food. The service matched the vibe -- nothing fancy, just warm and family-style, exactly what I expected. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. It's a true local spot, with a nostalgic "after-church" kind of feel, where families gather to enjoy a hearty meal. This place deserves all the business it can get, but I hope it keeps its local charm. Tasty Crust is the kind of place you'd love to keep to yourself, but it's too good not to share.

Tasty crust has always been a staple for my family and I since I was young kid time. I have always loved coming here as it is a family oriented restaurant where we can just sit down, chat, and eat good food. The service here has always been good and every time I have came here, they never lack in making sure your table has everything you need. The food is great. It's home style and good comfort food. I've always liked their fried chicken and their saimen. This time, my daughter got French toast with strawberries. She didn't like how it wasn't the strawberry fruits cut up, but I enjoyed it.

I love Tasty Crust. It looks old school from the outside and that might not appeal to you but step inside and a local aunty will welcome you. Add your name to the list. If you're a party of two chances are you'll be seated right away. Inside looks like a clean, old time diner with the hustle and bustle energy. I miss places like this. For breakfast, we had the veggie omelette and banana Mac nut pancakes. Brah. These are the best local pancakes. Super affordable too. Parking is easy, if the front is full, check the back.
